Oman – Mubasher: Dhofar Insurance announced that its ordinary general meeting (OGM) approved on Tuesday, 17 March a cash dividend amounting to 9.5 baisa per share or 9.5% of capital for the fiscal year 2014, according to a filing to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).
The insurance firm reported a net profit rise by 29% in 2014 to OMR 3.31 million compared to figures from 2013.
The company’s capital amounts to OMR 20 million divided on 200 million shares.
